EXCELLENT product! I'm very interested in exploring more about your country. I think the students have the same feeling. Just a quick visit, you created a very attractive website and I'll spend time on studying the information and testing the excrises. I lkie the pictures very much! Give you feedback later! Well done!
BTW, do you have any idea how to write the rationale?

Cheers

Hi Zahran,

Your website is really great! You give students very clear instructions about what and how to do. These are very helpful for your learners to complete all the activities you designed.

Hi Zahran,

Congratulation! Your website is really organized and well designed. Below are my feedbacks about your website:

1.STRENGTHS:
(a).I love the photos you put on your website which reflect the characteristics of your country, Oman.
(b).Your website is well connected to your webquest and the two guides'Johina and Basil' make the activities look more real and lively.
(c).You use a 'self-assessment' form to understand the learners' reading ability, learning strategies and attitude towards these activities you designed. It's really a good idea for teachers to understand their students' learning situations.
(d).You encourage collaborative work between the students because the learners are required to exchange what they've learned and send a group summary to the teacher
after doing these activities.

2 SUGGESTIONS:
(a).I found the font sizes in the 'instructions' and 'self-assessment' is a little bit small. Maybe you can enlarge them.
(b).The timer you put in your exercieses may make the students feel stressful when they are doing them. What do you think?
(c).When I did the 'Match' activity, I found the learners could guess the answers directly without reading the suggested articles.
(d). Maybe the suggested readings are too much for the learners because they are required to read 13 articles to complete all the activities.
(These are only my personal suggestions and they may not suit your needs or purposes. They are just another viewpoints for you to think about.)

In general, your website is very marvelous and neat. You give the learners very clear instructions which can avoid confusion and keep the learners from getting lost. You really have done a great job!

Dear rich man,
Jenifer's comment is absulutely what I want to say to you. She is really serious. I wish I can reach her level but I failed.

I would like to offer some superficial comments to you.

1, how can students get access to this website
2, where does it fit in your teaching sequence
3, can your country really carry out this CALL ?

This is just some comments based on my own experience in China.

Do you think there is some input in your website? Salomon, Perkin and Globerson (1991) states that traditional computer learning applications assess the effect of computer technologies on the leraner, where the learner has no input into the process.

Do you think you carried out SLA theories into your website?
Chapelle (1998) has an article entitled Multimedia call: lessons to be learned from reseach on instructed SLA. He suggested 7 evaluation of the call activities in terms of SLA angle.
1. Is there evidence that learners attended to salient linguistic characteristics of the target language
in

2. Do learners choose to see the modifications of linguistic input?

p
3. Do learners produce "comprehensible output"?

4.Is there evidence

that learners notice errors in their output?

5. Do learners correct their linguistic output?

6. To what extent do the learners interact with the computer to engage in modified interaction focusing

on form and meaning?

7. Do learners work toward communication-oriented goals?

Overall, you are a strong man. I just want to finish my assignment. This is all I can give to you, rich man, cheers.
